Activity Meeting Minutes
February 9, 2012
The meeting was called to order at 9 am by Jan Morris
Bob Couse led us in prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance.
The minutes for the January 12, 2012 were posted on our Website and on the main Bulletin Board. Motion to approve the minutes was made by Helen Reese and seconded by Jim Mikoski.

Old Business
Bob Couse reported that new Christmas lights have been purchased for our outdoor lighting next season.
Jim Mikoski reminded us that the monthly Board Meeting has been changed from February 15 to February 21 at 7 pm. Our attorney will be there to discuss questions concerning our electric rate. This is a very important meeting so please be there and remind your neighbors to be there too.
New Business
Bob Couse advised all people who have applied for the low income assistance on their electric bills to be sure to take your response from So. Cal. Edison to our office so they can make a copy of it.
Sandy Machen has again reminded anyone with an announcement or notice that is to be in the Monthly Newsletter to have the information to her BY the 25th of the month. It would be helpful for this months announcements to be to her by the 23rd since this is a short month.
Committee Reports
Jam Session - On Tuesday, 3/6/12, Phil Kepley and his merry band of Jammers, will be having a "Candy Bar Name That Tune". There will be 25 tunes and winners will be rewarded with a candy bar. There is a sign up sheet on the Bulletin Board. Don't miss this event.
Swap Meet - Tables will be for sale on Saturday, 2/11, at $4 per table, and the swap meet will be on Saturday, 2/18. Please see your Monthly Newsletter for all details.
Potato Bash - Will be on Wednesday, 2/22. Tickets are $6 per person. This is always a great meal. H/H 4:30 and dinner at 5:30. Please see Betty Couse, Barbara Fritzsche, Wanda Park, or Peggy McGriff for tickets.
Movie - This month's movie will be The Dolphin's Tale on Thursday, 2/16, at 6:30 pm. Free drinks and popcorn.

Pajama Party - All ladies wear your P.J's and come to the party Saturday, 2/25, from 11:30am to 4 pm. Tickets are $8.50 per person. See monthly Newsletter for all details.
Ice Cream Sandwiches - This month is Leap Year. We will be celebrating with free ice cream sandwiches in the ballroom from 12 pm -1 pm on Wednesday, 2/29. Sign up sheet is on the Bulletin Board. Please sign up so we know how many to prepare for.
The Menu - "The Menu" is always on the first Saturday of each month. Be sure to check the Bulletin Board for what will be served and don't forget to sign up. We don't want to run out of food and we don't want to turn anyone away.
Photo Contest - Sandy Machen has a photo contest going each week until the end of March with great prizes for the winners. See the photos to be identified on the Bulletin Board.
Luau - Phoebe promises a fantastic time with professional dancers and a great menu. Tickets are $40 per person which includes two free mai tais. See Monthly Newsletter for all details.
Volunteer Party - Open to all in the park. This will be on Saturday, 3/17 which is St. Patrick's Day. Wear your green and prepare to be entertained by The Harmonizers. You must sign up. The sign up sheet will be on the Bulletin Board.
Any Other Business
Wanda Park tells us that we have had seven sales at the Ranch so far this year. Welcome to the new owners.
